It has been a huge 3 days here at ILT Stadium Southland as we hosted the inagural Schick 3x3 Cup!

We had the best male and female basketballers in the country take the court in the new fast, furious & physical version of the game - 3x3 baby! Played on half a court with teams battling it out to be the first to 21 points before the 10minute timer runs out this version of basketball provides a lot of entertainment.

The women's title was taken out by the Auckland Dream who beat the Harbour Breeze 18 - 16 with the clock running out before either team could get to 21. 

The outcome of the men's title couldn't have gone any better with our SIT Zero Fees Southland Sharks taking it out 21 - 19 over the Hawkes Bay Hawkes in the Grande Final!
