Careerfest - Thursday 6 August

Join us at ILT Stadium Southland on Thursday 6 August, from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, for the public session of Careerfest. Meet with a wide range of employers, training providers, and industry representatives, ask questions, discover career pathways, and find out where your future could take you.

Drop-in Play Pods - Fridays 7, 14 & 21 August

Join us this August for our fun and interactive Drop-in Play Pods sessions, specially designed for pre-school tamariki.

Play Pods provide a safe and engaging space where children can explore, create, climb and play using a variety of fun equipment that encourages imagination, movement and creativity.

🗓️ Dates: Fridays 7, 14 & 21 August

⏰ Time: 10:00am – 11:00am

💰 Cost: $5 per child (third child FREE). Caregivers attend free.

No bookings are required – simply drop in and enjoy a morning of fun!

After School Climbing Programme - Tuesdays: 11 August, 18 August, 1 September, 8 September, 15 September & 22 September

Build confidence, strength, and climbing skills in a fun and supportive environment with our After School Climbing Programme. Designed for all abilities. Participants will learn new techniques, tackle exciting challenges, and develop resilience with guidance from our experienced climbing instructors.

Levels Available:

Level 1 – Beginner | Tuesdays 4pm–5pm

Learn the basics and build confidence on the wall.

Level 2 – Intermediate | Tuesdays 5pm–6pm

Develop technique and take on new challenges.

Level 3 – Advanced | Tuesdays 6pm–7pm

Push your skills further with more challenging climbs.

Headlining the festival is Tiki Taane (One Man Band), joined by an exciting lineup of local artists to keep the energy high throughout the afternoon.

Join players from across the South Island for three days of exciting pickleball competition, great vibes, and top-tier matchups. Whether you're competing or cheering from the sidelines, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

Leavers Ball - One Last Sunset - Saturday 26 September

ILT Stadium Southland is proud to be hosting our annual Leavers Ball open to all Year 13 students, in Southland and beyond!

As the year draws to a close, join us for an unforgettable evening celebrating the end of an era under the theme One Last Sunset. This is your moment to shine one final time with friends, celebrating how far you have come and looking ahead to everything still to come.

This event is open to all Year 13 school leavers of 2026, as well as individuals of equivalent age. All ticket holders must fall within the age bracket.
