We were thrilled to host the Vantage Elite & Under 19 Track Champs with some of the best cyclists in the country taking to the track!

The New Zealand team even had a crack at the world record and were just off!

​​​​​​​ILT Stadium Southland & YourCorps Presents Multiplayer Video Game Tournament Featuring Fortnite, 27th & 28th February

This was the biggest multiplayer video game Tournament Southland has ever seen with over 120 competitors battleing it out on screen to take homw the $1000 cash prize!

Southland Multicultural Food Festival,

The flavours and the culture are always a great reason to ensure you get along to the Multicultural Food Festival!

We look forward to this event every year - watch this space, it will be back for 2022.

Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel v Mainland Tactix, 18th April

It was fabulous to have the girls back in the venue for their first game of the season and what a game it was!

Steel came out on top beating the Tactix 54 - 36!

This event happens annually in our SIT Velodrome bringing together trades people from all over Southland. 

SIT Zerofees Southland Sharks v Taranaki Mountainairs, 29th April

It was a tight first game for the boys in the Shark Tank as they took the win over the Taranaki Mountainairs 78 - 76 in the closing seconds of the game! 

Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel v Central Pulse, 2nd May

The girls beat last years Premiership Champions 56 - 52 in a great game! 

Parris Goebel Presents The Royal Family NZ Tour, 8th May

​​​​​​​What a night! We welcomed a crowd of over 1700 guests to what can only be described as a phenominal performance by the Royal Family!

If you missed it you definately missed out becasue this will be one to remember! 

Boobie Brunch, 9th May

We hosted our annual Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Mothers Day this year and thank you to everyone who attened because we raised over $2,500!

It is amazing the creations that can be made out of Lego! The Southland Brick Show does not dissapoint!

Our SIT Zerofees Southland Sharks took the win against the Nelson Giants 101 -  92!

Southland Home Show, 27th June

Once again the Southland Home Show was a huge success and a must for 2022. If you're looking for inspiration for your home and garden keep your eyes peeled for the next one of these coming in June!

The Boss - Tribute Show

Our favourite moment has to be hosting this phenomenal group of incredibly talented musicians, the show had us singing and dancing down the foyer!

Elimination Final - Southern Steel

It was absolutely amazing to host the elimination final between the Southern Steel and the Good Oil Tactix. The Tactix just piped us with a winning score of 54-49 to go on to the Grand Final.

Tiny Town

We loved partnering with Great South to bring Tiny Town to the ILT Stadium Southland.

The October school holidays are the perfect time for the festival and the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring it!

Paint and Sip

We hosted our first ever paint and sip evening with Miss Reid's Crafts and it was a tremendous success. It was so refreshing to be back into social activities and we painted some beautiful sunflowers. 

Murihiku Polyfest

This year's celebrations for Miharo Murihiku Polyfest looked a little different, however we were absolutely thrilled to still be involved in such a pinnacle event!

A huge congratulations goes out to all of the fantastic schools who took part in the three day online event, it was truly special!

Our Legends Lounges transformed into a film studio with Strawberry Sound!

Waihopai City Lions Southland Christmas Tree Festival

Once again our annual Christmas Tree festival lit up the courts for December with 40 trees decorated by local businesses. 

Almost $4000 was raised this year! Thank you so much to everyone who came along, donated and voted for their favourite tree.

Merry Little Christmas Concert
This year the concert featured our new stadium group '8BOP' and some incredibly talented local artists.

We were stoked for our young tamariki, as this show brings so much Christmas joy, with a special appearance from the jolly man himself. We also had guest appearances from Micky and Minnie Mouse and Elsa, Anya and Olaf from Frozen.

ILT Christmas Variety Show

Despite the continuous uncertainty around lockdowns, levels and a traffic light system our team worked tirelessly to ensure the pinacle event of the year could go ahead.

The ILT Christmas Variety Show went off with a bang on the night with a packed stadium and a very happy crowd. We were absolutely thrilled to provide the Southland community with a vast array of performances from some very talented locals!

We can't wait to start working on the 2022 show which is guaranteed to be bigger and better then ever!
